Dearest father, bless his soul, had surprised us with tickets to Australia. Our week long leave for Sydney and Brisbane starts on Monday. Cold weather, alluring surfer-like boys, australian fashion spell bliss to this being. But our impromptu trip also means that the long-planned zoo visit with the girls has to be postponed. Managed to score Manchester United's training pass. I say that with a big, loony grin plastered across my face. Though i can't express my mortification on the lads' loss in the Champions League. My day(s) were wrecked because of it. And yes, it can't be ignored how kick ass Barcelona played. I was mid-way through a post regarding camp when unexpectedly, the lights went out. Living without a fan and/or an air-conditioner for even fifteen minutes is pure torture. A new replacement post will definitely not be existant due to my mobbed schedule and also my laziness. But, to epitomize the camp -- Best. Camp. Ever. Reasons for it being; i) nightwalk! ii) all forty-eight girls bunking in a room and iii) marvelous little ones. I will doubtlessly miss my days as a PRS and i am not looking forward to stepping down this coming July. That, would be emotional. Not that we didn't get enough emotions during camp. Fatin, being a true sweetheart, had welcomed us back home from camp with a box of strawberry cupcakes complete with each of our faces drawn on a cupcake. Two of the cupcakes too, had bicycles drawn on them. Ehem, Gang Basikal. Speaking of bicycles, i have been trailling along with father on his daily dose of exercise. That man sure has high stamina. Always leaving me panting and breathless behind. Sa'idah almost broke my nose today with her hard-rock head. Sa'idah has a somewhat special relationship with my nose. She almost tore my nose into two last year when she had mistaken my nose stick for dead skin. Madre mia, if this continues, my nose would be an exact copy of Owen Wilson's. Crooked noses are never sexy, mind you. Teachers Day today was amusing in so many ways. From Puan Ngau's reaction to Su Wei's carrot cake -"Got bomb, ah?"- to the amazingly unexpected performances. Teachers donning gigantic afro dos while shaking their butts to ABBA's "Dancing Queen", how can that not be a favourite? Not forgetting the otherwise timid and mousy students who had suddenly come out of their shells in a way nobody would have guessed. Standing ovations were given. At the end of school, i was given brownies by my Baby Angel, Azraa. Which i thought was an extremely sweet gesture. And it was tre scrumptious, as well :-)
I have awoken from the dead. These past few weeks were bittersweet, none overweighing the other. Praise the Lord, my mid-term test is over! I may now take a breather. Lets see what's worth ranting.. Had countless visits and two sleepovers in a period of two weeks at Fatin's. The frequent visits have caused Fatin's family to ask about my presence whenever i disappear for a second or two. Second home, much? But the two sleepovers were actually for us to melt our brains together practicing Additional Mathematics. On both nights, we ended up sleeping no later than 4.30 AM with major papers in less than four hours later. To keep us sane (and awake!), we had put on songs with cheesy written all over them and socks, thus a whole lot of sliding had occured then. There were even some Elvis inspired poses and sore asses. Trips to Swansea, UK were also taken via webcam. We were late for school after our second sleepover and the three of us, myself, Nad and Fatin had a spotlight moment during our morning assembly. Our "Gang Basikal" has widened to four members, and no doubt there will be more members to come. It's such a "Now and Then" -the movie- moment whenever we cycle around the neighbourhood with oldies blasting through our mobiles. We do however, receive bizarre and ominous stares from strangers behind vehicles. Perhaps they have never set their eyes on teenagers who do things which are productive for a change. With the generation we live in now, i can't say that i blame them. It's American Idol time! -- Best. Finale. Ever. I mean how magnificent was it when Kara snubbed Bikini Girl and her fake boobs mid-song? And the Adam and KISS combination? Majestic! And for the first time, i couldn't adjudicate, Adam or Kris? I full heartedly believe that Adam deserved it but even with that stated, i still wanted Kris to win. It's the genuinity of the lad. When his voice is let out into musical notes, it's just so hypnotizing. And Adam, win or lose, will have a ginormous career. Mother being a sweetheart, has purchased my Manchester United vs Malaysia ticket(!!!!). Despite queueing up on the first day of it being sold, the limited training passes which were given out, were already AWOL. And i also didn't get the seating that i wanted. Nontheless! I am thankful to be given the chance to witness my lads play. Counting the days baby, just counting the days. Arrived home from PRS' annual camp yesterday. So my body is crying of exhaustion. Hopefully, i would be able to get these loafing fingers alive enough to rant about camp. And, there might be a possible holiday in tow. I am aspiring for the plan to work out because God knows how much this family is in dire need of a break.
Lets kick some butt fellow Green Serpents!
I'm so incredibly proud of those who are taking part in the Green team's march past :'-) Thanks to a few absent-minded people, we had to somewhat re-do the whole arrangement. Nonetheless, the team managed to perfect the new arrangement in just mere hours. Win or lose, i will be ecstatic -- thanks to them awesome team mates! I for one, have never felt this excited for Sports Day. Gar, and i am definitely looking forward to dressing up as the mascot. I was formerly asked to dress up as Medusa but, some unnecessary protests were gotten. Therefore we had to change our mascot and i am now the Queen of Serpents. Changed my rented dreadlocks for a wild headgear completed with chicken feathers. It is wild enough to scare my psycho cat who dashed for the couch after setting eyes on me. But, what a shame. I was really looking forward to be Medusa, with snakes wrapped around my locks accompanied by a pair of dark, sexy eyes. That, and to potray evilness for a day. Rather cool, is it not? Dad got me my Nano-Chromatic(!!!!!!). The little delicate piece of yellow creation is now the latest joy in my life. I have finally watched (and drooled over!) John Mayer's "Where The Light Is" DVD. Ah, what a magnificent creation of God, that lad. The goofy faces he makes while slaying the guitar -- priceless. And, with both pressure and help from my friends, i have decided on what i want. I hope all goes well this time. Fingers and toes are crossed.
Don't ! This is who you are. And we love you. (haha.I sound like a line from a movie) read more
